2021, we’re ready!

Published 05/01/2021 by Kids&Us

At Kids&Us we face the new year grateful for the lessons we’ve learned, excited about a fresh start and with big hugs for all the K&U family: schools, teachers, students and of course mums and dads.

The new year is inevitably a time for taking stock, and this is exactly what the founder of Kids&Us, Natàlia Perarnau, and company CEO Quim Serracanta have been doing over the last few weeks.

The creator of the Kids&Us method has used the platform provided by her blog, to look back on what have been her three most defining memories of the past year. Natàlia Perarnau takes a trip down memory lane and what has been learnt over 2020 and concludes that there are three points which have especially defined one of the most difficult years of our lives: the collective effort to discover and fight COVID-19, the work done each day at Kids&Us to keep students connected to English learning; and the hugs which we have not been able to give each other.

For his part, Quim Serracanta addressed the Kids&Us school network and the team at the Manresa Head Office to reflect on 2020. He highlighted the effort and sacrifices that have been made by the schools since the pandemic began, and said that the network of Kids&Us schools continues to be strong and able to face up to the current situation. The Kids&Us CEO also stressed the importance of continuing to work as a team, and praised the hard work by the teams at Head Office to digitalise the method, whilst still managing to deal with all their other projects and daily tasks.

For all that we’ve lived through up to now, we can be sure that we’re ready for the new year which is just getting started.
