How have the Kids&Us schools adapted to the new safety measures?

Published 15/10/2020 by Kids&Us

For Kids&Us, the safety of our students has been key when planning for the new academic year and the reopening of the schools. Therefore, we have worked to create an environment that meets all the safety measures recommended by the health authorities. Likewise, all internal protocols have been revised to make the Kids&Us schools safe spaces for all: students, families and teachers.

Kids&Us Head Office has provided the schools with a Safety Pack containing reusable masks for teachers and students, face shields, hydroalcoholic gel, and antibacterial mats at the school entrances. In addition, the new steps include reorganising entry and exit to avoid build-ups outside buildings; taking the temperatures of those entering the school; washing hands on entering and leaving the building; cleaning and disinfecting the classrooms and spaces throughout the day and adapting the classroom furniture, amongst other measures.

These newly implemented measures will be adapted, if necessary, to the changing scenario that we find ourselves in and always following the advice of the health authorities.

Global Handwashing Day

To keep raising children’s awareness of the importance of hand hygiene, and coinciding with Global Handwashing Day, we have created a fun event; I Wash my hands with Kids&Us.

For this initiative, we asked the families to film themselves performing the Kids&Us song Wash our hands. The winner will be announced on our social media accounts to coincide with Global Handwashing Day, on 15 October.
