Kids&Us courses make the most of the first years of life and the high learning capacity that children have, focusing on:
Pedagogical content
Our method is based on the way human beings naturally acquire a language, which is through our continual exposure to it, personal experience and the need to communicate.
1 year
We work with physical stimuli, songs, rhymes and games. The objective of the proposed activities is to establish a primary contact with the foreign language, to get used to the sounds and the “music” of the language. The link between all the stories is Mousy.

2 years
Two year-old children are big babies. They are starting to become independent from adults and it is a period where many changes take place: they stop using nappies and dummies, they start eating on their own, etc.
This is the reason we work with Linda, a character of the same age children are who accompanies them throughout this period of change. The progress is achieved through songs, rhymes and short stories.

3 years
We work and we contextualize the language with the help of stories adapted to the cognitive development of the child. These stories are collectively staged by the children and they offer an excuse to work with related structures and vocabulary. These tales explain stories where the main characters live through situations the children get identified with. Children can thus become the real main characters.

years
From this age onwards, we expect to, firstly, gather all the knowledge gained during the Kids&Us courses; secondly, consolidate basic grammar concepts and lastly develop comprehension and expressions further and globally as we have done so far.
Apart from the merely linguistic goals, we feel responsible for passing on values to new generations.

Standard English courses.
It has been proven that when you start to learn English with Kids&Us at an early age and follow its directions, the learning process of English takes place successfully and with guarantees.
However, you can learn English in a more traditional way at Kids&Us school of english, thinking of all those students who start learning English later on.
One-to-one lessons.
We offer our students the possibility to have one-to-one lessons taking into account their personal needs.
our characters
Mousy is a sweet and tender little mouse who will accompany the 1-year-old kids. We will start to learn English by playing, singing and telling short stories.
During this course, the children get familiar with the rhythm of English, they will understand basic structures and they will learn short songs while they start saying their first words in this new language.
Linda is a 2 year old female little mouse who is always accompanied by her teddy, called Bunny. Linda pretends to be a big girl and she is always telling her teddy off because he behaves like a baby. During this course, children are going to learn the language connected to the world of the 2 year old children.
The 2 year old children start to be independent and they have very specific communicative needs and we want them to be able to talk about their little world.
Sam is a restless kid. He is willing to unveil the world around him. Do you know what he does when he goes to the farm? And when he finds mummy’s handbag? You will find it out!
This year we will revise the most important concepts from the previous years and we will introduce new ones so that children can start communicating with short sentences.
Emma is a very stubborn girl. She very often does not want to do what mummy and daddy tell her to do and she takes no notice of what they say. She has great fun when she goes to her grandpas’ farm and she helps granny to cook macaroni. Do you know what she put in the macaroni one day instead of cheese? You will find it out!!
We will revise all what we have been doing in the previous course with Sam and we will introduce new concepts that will enable them to communicate with short sentences.
Oliver is a very sweet boy but he is sometimes a little bit mischievous. He has been asking mummy and daddy to have a little brother or sister to play football with. Sometimes, he does not take any notice of what he is told. Mummy left him home alone one day and …
We will revise what the students have been learning so far and we will complement the structures we have seen and we will learn new ones. During this year, children start feeling confident and make sentences spontaneously.
Marcia is a little bit naughty and she has magic powers. She has got a lot of pets but her favourite one is Missy, her Persian cat.
She has got very clear idea of what she likes and what she does not like, did you know that? One day, her mum bought her a new dress to go to birthday parties but she did not like it at all. Can you imagine what she did?
Marcia's course represents a turning point in the Kids&Us method. During this course, the language we learn is rich in idiomatic expressions through which children take a step forward in terms of quality.
Pam and Paul are twins. They love each other but they sometimes argue too, specially when it is time to watch TV. They have been asking their parents to buy them a puppy for quite a while now but mummy says that one must be very responsible to have a pet. It will soon be their birthday. Who knows… they might have a surprise!
This course is aimed at consolidating what we have been doing during these years, making the most of the knowledge they have acquired. At this level, they start constructing quite complex sentences using subordinate structures in context as well as some verbs in past.
Ben and Brenda are brother and sister. Ben is the oldest. The other day, when he was going home from school, Ben saw a very cool bike in a shop-window. He does not like his bike so much since then! He says it is old and not fast enough. Do you think he will get his own way and his parents will buy him a new one?
In this course, children start writing and reading. In spite of being the first year children write and read, they don’t start with basic things as they do at school. What we will do is move forward considering their level of English with the novelty that the exercises will be carried out in the class and they won’t be exclusively oral exercises, but there will also be written activities.
Alex and her family travel around the world in their “supercaravan” while they discover and get to know curious animals and others beasts in danger of extinction. From these journeys, the children will become aware of the sad reality of our planet. Will we be able to change our habits and prevent polar bears from extinction? Alex and her family will set example in order to turn our world into a better place to live!
Our Animal Planet courses are an explosion of knowledge, as kids become aware of all they have learnt so far.
At this point, and after what we have been doing in class, children are able to use a great quantity of grammatical structures in an intuitive way, as well as to understand oral and written texts of an important level of difficulty, especially considering their age. In their discourse, they use subordinate sentences and different verb tenses. This takes place through a fascinating topic: THE ANIMAL WORLD!!

Advantages of the courses by Kids&Us
STARTING TO LEARN ENGLISH FROM A VERY EARLY AGE ENTAILS CERTAIN ADVANTAGES WHICH ARE VERY IMPORTANT FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE CHILDREN'S KNOWLEDGE WHEN LEARNING A NEW LANGUAGE. KIDS&US ENGLISH FOR LITTLE PEOPLE INVOLVES:
> Pronunciation. The children who start to learn a new language from a very early age show better pronunciation and intonation than those who start later.
> These children have a more positive attitude when it comes to learning a new language. The children who start to learn a new language in a fun and entertaining way have a much more positive attitude towards learning new languages.
> Reading the foreign language becomes easier. When it is time to start reading in English or German, this becomes much easier. Children have already had a great amount of oral language before they see it written. Thus, although sometimes languages are pronounced differently from the way they are written, both the context and the knowledge that they have already acquired enable them to read it quite easily.
> Grammar becomes easier. Those children who are in contact with the new language and its structure from a very early age, know a lot of grammar without being aware of this; they have already learnt it naturally, as if it was their own language that they are learning.
> Speaking the language becomes easier. Most students of a language state that they feel great insecurity
when it comes to speaking. Children who have spoken English or German from their first day of class will go on doing it in the future; it will be the most natural thing for them to do!
> Better understanding of spoken language. The children are exposed daily to the new language. Their hearing is more used to the sounds of English. Children see themselves forced to find out the meaning of the different situations that arise in class. To do so, they use their knowledge of the language, together with their intuition.
> The children do not tend to translate so easily from their language. Children learn a language naturally. In fact, they do not either connect it or compare it to their mother tongue. We treat them as if they were potential native English speakers.
